It was a busy weekend for the Orlando financial technology company Fattmerchant.
Forbes and U.S News & World Report magazines both placed the payment technology company, which employs more than 100 at its downtown Orlando location, on lists recognizing the top companies in the industry.
U.S. News & World Report announced that the company had received the top rating on its list of best credit card processing companies.
Forbes, meanwhile, listed Fattmerchant as one of the nine best in the payments space, alongside companies like Stripe.
CEO and Founder Suneera Madhani said the recognition was “validation of everything we have been disrupting in our industry.”
Fattmerchant and Square were the only two to receive a 4.1 out of 5 rating on the U.S. News & World Report list.
