Finzly, a fintech provider of modern banking applications for foreign exchange, trade finance, payments and digital banking, will demonstrate the company’s bank operating system, BankOS, at the FinovateFall digital event.
The demonstration, scheduled to take place Monday, Sept. 14 at 1:05pm, will showcase how BankOS is freeing financial institutions from limitations of legacy technology systems. Led by Dave Hunkele, chief strategy officer, and Terry Howell, CTO, the demo will explore how the operating system enables FIs to offer customers a more modern banking experience while shifting the workload off of legacy core systems.
BankOS empowers FIs to create and choose “best-in-class” products and services to engage more effectively with their customers while utilizing the latest technologies, such as open APIs, microservices and cloud computing. With apps available through a single, innovative platform, FIs can more quickly and easily introduce new products and services in three simple steps: subscribe, try and launch.
“Financial institutions have allowed legacy technology to dictate the speed at which they innovate, with new products and services taking months, even years, to integrate or update – something that hinders the institution’s ability to give customers a truly modern banking experience,” said Booshan Rengachari, founder and CEO, Finzly. “BankOS breaks down the barriers to innovation, making it possible for FIs to launch new products in weeks, capture new market opportunities through specialized banking services, streamline payments and back-office processes, and get more mileage from their existing technology infrastructure. BankOS helps FIs innovate in the areas that matter most and deliver the modern banking experience that their customers need and expect.”
